Job Summary
A healthcare system is in need of a Remote Patient Connection Triage Registered Nurse in Atlanta.
Must be able to:
- Serve as clinical contact for patients calling the contact center with specific symptoms or concerns
- Document the clinical information that was discussed with the patient in EPIC
- Provide normal test results to patients who are not able to talk to their primary nurse in a timely manner
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 3 years of professional nursing experience preferably in an ER, Critical Care and or Cardiovascular medical practice
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- Current BLS certification required with phone triage experience preferred
- Able to identify unstable patients and direct them to appropriate emergency care
- Assist and guide medical assistants fulfilling medication refill responsibilities
