Job Summary

A physician-led healthcare staffing company is filling a position for a Remote Patient Coordinator in Tyler.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Being the first point of contact with patients, medical providers and patient representatives who are seeking assistance from a registered Nurse and/or their Doctor’s Office
• Building that immediate trust, provides compassion, and empathy while creating an electronic record of the call
• Following customized guidelines to document the necessary medical information before a Nurse or Doctor speaks with the patient

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information by patient
• The ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm
• The ability to pass an assimilation listening test
• The ability to defuse conversations and escalate if necessary
