Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Patient Financial Services Customer Services Representative.
Must be able to:
- Respond to incoming calls to provide assistance and excellent customer service to patients
- Process payments, adjustments, claims, correspondence, refunds, denials, and financial/charity applications
- Reconcile, balance and pursue account balances and payments, and/or denials
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services or insurance industry experience processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
- Strong knowledge of insurance plans with deductibles and co-insurances
