Job Summary
A company that offers patient communication management services is in need of a Remote Patient Intake Coordinator Scheduler.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, completing precertifications, making referrals
- Working with patients to obtain complete and accurate information
- Providing excellent customer service to a diverse age and ethnic population
Qualifications for this position include:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
- Adept at handling large call volumes
- Have a working knowledge of EPIC/Cerner and/or PHS
- Able to efficiently schedule radiology and diagnostic procedures
- Have experience with basic insurance guidelines
- Have a proven ability to work in a home remote environment
