Job Summary

A company that offers patient communication management services is in need of a Remote Patient Intake Coordinator Scheduler.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, completing precertifications, making referrals
  • Working with patients to obtain complete and accurate information
  • Providing excellent customer service to a diverse age and ethnic population

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
  • Adept at handling large call volumes
  • Have a working knowledge of EPIC/Cerner and/or PHS
  • Able to efficiently schedule radiology and diagnostic procedures
  • Have experience with basic insurance guidelines
  • Have a proven ability to work in a home remote environment
