Job Summary

A healthcare industry service provider has an open position for a Remote Patient Intake Coordinator Scheduler.

Must be able to:

  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance
  • Obtain complete and accurate information
  • Provide excellent customer service to a diverse age and ethnic population

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must have a dedicated office space that can be closed off by a door for security
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
  • Adept at handling large call volumes, preferably with use of VOIP call systems
  • Working knowledge of the following systems: EPIC/Cerner and/or PHS
  • Efficiently schedule radiology and diagnostic procedures
  • Experience with basic insurance guidelines
