A healthcare service provider is filling a position for a Remote Patient Referral Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying potential referral providers or facilities
- Interviewing patients for medical information
- Entering and validating information in various databases
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in medical office, central scheduling, or in a clinical navigator role
- Knowledge of and experience with medical terminology and procedural coding
- Experience with insurance plans, third-party payer practices and guidelines, and pre-certification
- Knowledge of customer service best practices
- Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills
