Job Summary
A healthcare billing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Patient Resolution Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing superior customer service in partnership with hospitals throughout the country
- Managing a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls from patients, hospitals, and insurance carriers to resolve patient accounts and collect payment
- Researching alternate insurance or payment options available while navigating and updating multiple patient accounting systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Previous customer service and/or collections experience
- Proven good computer and multi-tasking skills
- Possession of excellent communication skills
- Ability to identify an issue, examine options, and provide effective solutions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to assess caller status to ensure the protection of patient privacy and compliance with State and Federal guidelines
