Job Summary
A company that is at the forefront of cancer, urology treatment and care is filling a position for a Remote Patient Safety Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Collaborate with other departments in development of strategic and operational patient safety programs
- Promote and encourage a reporting culture of clinical incidents, near misses and hazards
- Identify, investigate, analyze, and communicate clinical incidents or adverse events
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to occasionally travel interstate
- Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Quality and Safety, Nursing, or Business Administration
- 3+ years’ experience in quality and safety
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- Preferred – clinical experience in similar environment
- Preferred – Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or working towards within one year of hire
