Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, providing professional and empathetic responses to inquiries
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and ensure timely follow-up on patient concerns
- Document and update patient records accurately while adhering to established practice guidelines and protocols
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
- Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, such as phone, email, and chat
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration in a diverse team environment
