Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, providing professional and empathetic responses to inquiries
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and ensure timely follow-up on patient concerns
  • Document and update patient records accurately while adhering to established practice guidelines and protocols
Required qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, such as phone, email, and chat
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration in a diverse team environment
