Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Remote Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation while working from a secure home environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools, addressing inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule appointments, providing detailed confirmations and necessary instructions to patients
  • Document patient interactions accurately and escalate issues outside of established protocols to ensure patient needs are met
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working with a diverse group of professionals
  • Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone calls and online chats
