Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Remote Payment Poster will perform payment application functions including manual and electronic payment entry, deposit verification, and daily reconciliation for TRCS customers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform manual and electronic payment entry and deposit verification
- Conduct daily reconciliation and investigate variances in payment postings
- Post payment corrections and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Required qualifications
- Minimum of one year of medical or healthcare-related payment entry experience or equivalent accounting experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems and Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from a payer is preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology is preferred
