Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Remote Payment Poster will perform payment application functions including manual and electronic payment entry, deposit verification, and daily reconciliation for TRCS customers.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform manual and electronic payment entry and deposit verification
  • Conduct daily reconciliation and investigate variances in payment postings
  • Post payment corrections and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of medical or healthcare-related payment entry experience or equivalent accounting experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems and Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from a payer is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology is preferred
