Remote Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Services Payment Posting Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret explanation of benefits (EOB) from insurance carriers to post payments and denial codes
• Enter remittance information into multiple practice management systems with high accuracy
• Reconcile cash batches and identify incomplete information for resolution

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare insurance billing
• Strong data entry skills with proficiency in 10 key
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, or medical terminology preferred
• Ability to perform simple analysis and discuss findings with a supervisor
