Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Payment Poster.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and electronic payment entry and deposit verification
• Conduct daily reconciliation and investigate variances
• Post payment corrections as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of medical or healthcare-related payment entry experience or equivalent accounting experience preferred
• Thorough understanding of Windows operating system environments and Office tools
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology preferred
• Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from a payer is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills are required
