Job Summary
A real estate investment marketplace is seeking a Remote Payroll Manager in Oakland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing full-cycle processing of US payroll on a bi-weekly/semi-monthly basis for 200+ employees
- Owning month-end close, quarter-end and year-end processes
- Managing tax and benefits compliance and reporting with all Federal, State, and Local payroll compliance
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related course of study
- 5+ years of relevant experience in payroll processing, related accounting analysis and month-end reconciliations
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member in a time sensitive environment
- Advanced time management skills and ability to work in a decentralized team
- Strong communication skills, written/verbal, and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Unquestionable ethics and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive data
