Remote Payroll Operations Director

Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Payroll Operations Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain functional payroll processes and procedures
• Assist the payroll tax team in any quarter end procedures to reconcile tax accounts or file payroll tax returns
• Oversee and assist the payroll accounting team with auditing of all payroll transactions

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Director or Payroll Manager
• In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with payroll software like Oracle, UKG, or Kronos
• Familiarity with HRIS and Timekeeping
• Effective Customer service skills
• Experience with Microsoft office, with proficiency in Excel
