Job Summary
An e-commerce marketplace is seeking a Remote Payroll Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees across the US and Canada
- Processing semi-monthly payroll for exempt employees for Canada
- Ensuring compliance in Canada is met including submitting ROE’s, and processing T4’s
Qualifications for this position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience of payroll process experience
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge of Canada federal wage, tax, and overtime laws
- You are resourceful and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise utmost discretion
- Extreme attention to detail, and proficient with time management and organization
