Remote Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A social media marketing agency is seeking a Remote Payroll Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Analyze, prepare, and validate payroll data
• Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 3-5 years experience processing payroll and as a staff accountant operating in the Finance or HR department
• Proficiency in ERP and general ledger systems
• Demonstrated proficiency in payroll and HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other databases
• Ability to develop and formally document policies, procedures, and processes
