Job Summary
A social media marketing agency is seeking a Remote Payroll Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze, prepare, and validate payroll data
- Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3-5 years experience processing payroll and as a staff accountant operating in the Finance or HR department
- Proficiency in ERP and general ledger systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in payroll and HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other databases
- Ability to develop and formally document policies, procedures, and processes
