Job Summary

An HR service provider is filling a position for a Remote Payroll Specialist in Orange County.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Processing multi-state payrolls timely and accurately
• Owning full-cycle payroll processing
• Serving as a hands-on payroll expert for the client and their employees

Position Requirements Include:

• Occasional local travel (typically 2-3 half days per month) to client sites required
• Strong consultation skills and proven track record in a client facing, matrixed role
• Strong attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of California and Federal wage and hour laws
• Experience working with senior executives, managing organizational change
• Comfort with payroll systems/technology
