Remote Payroll Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company delivering healthcare IT solutions is in need of a Remote Payroll Staff Accountant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Initiate and process bi-weekly payroll using ADP’s WorkforceNow payroll platform
• Respond to team member inquiries related to compensation, timesheets, or payroll related questions
• Prepare and upload HSA contributions to team member accounts

Required Skills:

• 5 years of accounting experience; must have a solid understanding of the full accounting process
• Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures and internal controls
• Experience reviewing financial information and creating variance analyses
• Advanced MS Excel
• Preferred previous experience as the process owner for payroll functions
• Preferred experience with processing payroll for 300+ employees
