Job Summary
A cloud-based computing software firm is seeking a Remote Payroll Tax Accountant in Boston.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting the Sr. Payroll Manager with oversight/governance and analysis
- Conducting payroll tax activities using ADP/SmartCompliance
- Able to connect, combine, and manipulate large volumes of data to share actionable insights
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years of experience in Payroll /Tax and mobile employees
- Thorough knowledge of Federal, States, Local and Provincial tax requirements for US and Canada
- Experience with hands-on end to end payroll process
- Experience with quarterly and annual wage reporting and remittance requirements
- Know Federal, State / Multi-State and Local tax wages, amendments, W2 & W2-c’s
- Advanced skills using Excel, data manipulation and balancing
