Remote Payroll Tax Analyst

Job Summary

A healthcare solutions company has a current position open for a Remote Payroll Tax Analyst.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing tax research on a variety of federal and state issues as needed, including during acquisitions
• Assisting with developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize federal and state tax expense
• Reviewing, responding to and resolving various federal, state, and local tax notices

Qualifications Include:

• Must have a best practice/continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in federal, state, and local income tax
• Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be a self-starter
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
• Strong tax technical skills
