Remote PCB Designer
Job Summary
Driving the design and development of complex printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, the Remote Senior Specialist, PCB Designer will work on a contract-to-perm basis, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-reliability electronic solutions while enjoying a flexible 9/80 work schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Design and place critical components on PCB layouts based on engineering requirements
- Route metal traces to ensure optimal electrical and physical specifications
- Generate accurate PCB and CCA drawings to support fabrication and assembly processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of PCB design experience, or a graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of PCB design experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with ECAD software applications
- Strong understanding of PCB design technologies, layout techniques, electrical schematics, and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver manufacturable designs in a fast-paced environment
