Job Summary

An addiction and behavioral health service provider is seeking a Remote Peer Recovery Support Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Provide peer recovery support via telephone/video conference
  • Conduct routine monitoring of client experience through assessments
  • Assist in guiding patient to community and health plan directed resources

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to participate in staffing/meetings; regularly attend personal recovery support activities
  • 1 year experience working with substance use disorder, mental health or recovery work
  • Certified or eligible for certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist
  • 3 years of continuous sobriety from drugs and alcohol
  • Computer skills and internet access; experience with software, video conferencing, etc
  • Must maintain a lifestyle that promotes continued mental, physical and spiritual health
