Uscreen is a remote-first SaaS company, a collective of amazing individuals changing the way people consume video content globally. Our team is made up of skillful developers, incredibly caring support, passionate sales and marketing teams, and now, we're looking for amazing talent to join us as People Ops Specialist, to help us pave a sustainable growth path.

This position is the best fit for someone with solid People Ops / HR experience, specifically in a remote, multicultural working environment.

Please note that we are a fully remote team and we need People Ops Specialist to come in with a solid understanding and first hand experience of a complicated remote working model, as well as possible challenges it brings.

About the role:

As the name suggests, this is a people-oriented position. Your number one task is to keep our team operating at an optimum efficiency, and it all starts from hiring. Big part of your weekly tasks will be related to recruiting the right talent for our expanding teams as well as ensuring a solid onboarding process for each new hire. Another big chunk of your time will be allocated to helping keep our team members happy. You will do so by making sure they have everything they need: from proper tool access and company specific documentation, to a friendly face available to talk -- your job is to offer support to our team whenever and however needed.

In short you will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle within our organization, with an emphasis of recruiting and onboarding for the first 6 months.

Some of your core activities will include:
-Recruiting and non-technical onboarding (your responsibilities will grow over time)
-Restructuring our onboarding process and related documentation
-Handling payroll, administration and time-off policies
-Working closely with team managers to identify areas of improvement
-Creating new processes that help improve organizational effectiveness
-Organizing and executing 1-on-1 calls with each member in our team
-Finding creative ways to engage our team in community chats or events
-Ensuring absolute transparency across teams

Requirements (Must Have):
-3+ years experience in HR or People Operations
-1+ year working remotely
-Experience creating or optimizing onboarding processes
-Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
-Exceptional communication skills
-Experience with tools like Hubstaff, Slack, Trello or similar management tools

Must be:
-A natural problem solver
-Able to overlap at least 4 hours with our distributed team (6AM to noon ET would be ideal but this is flexible)
-Quick to learn and able to understand the team and all individual requirements
-Able to work independently
-Fluent English skills (both written and spoken)
-Overall a kind and fun person :)

Our ideal candidate will also have:
Experience in SaaS (good to have but not a deal breaker if you match some other key criteria)

-Full-time (40 hours per week) remote job with contract. We want to make it clear that this is -NOT a freelance / part-time position you can do in tandem with other professional endeavors
