Job Summary
A health and fitness tracking platform has an open position for a Remote PEP Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building and maintaining APIs that drive our user's experience
- Evaluating and improving existing systems and APIs to provide more robust solutions
- Engaging in code-reviews, working with teammates to learn and grow
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Built high request volume APIs for a multitude of clients, including but not limited to: Mobile, Web, Third-Party integrators
- Experience with a variety of API design patterns, such as REST
- Understanding evolving APIs in a safe, incremental manner
- Experience with a variety of data stores (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
- Experience with Triaging and debugging production issues
