Job Summary

A material handling equipment supplier is seeking a Remote Perception Lead Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing object detection, mapping, and localization algorithms
• Developing fusion and calibration approaches
• Adapting the vision system to different vehicle form factors and applications

Required Skills:

• Ability to occasionally travel to customer sites
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or related
• 5+ years of industry experience of deploying real solutions to the market
• Knowledge of mapping, detection, non-linear optimization, probabilistic filtering, and/or classification
• Strong software engineering knowledge and demonstrated expertise in C++ and/or Python
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing maintainable and scalable code
