Job Summary

A cloud-based computing software firm is in need of a Remote Performance Engineer in Boston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and executing performance/scalability benchmarks for CDMS product
  • Collaborating with members of the Engineering team to solve performance problems
  • Monitoring production performance and investigating issues

Position Requirements Include:

  • 2+ years in software QA/performance testing in a software development organization
  • Proficiency with Java, MySQL, and scripting tools such as Python and Shell scripting
  • Knowledge about performance engineering, including the use of JMeter, or similar tools
  • Ability to debug test problems, and analyze the root causes
  • Comfortable with Linux, Docker, AWS, GIT, Artifactory
