Job Summary
A cybersecurity technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Performance Systems Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring, maintaining, and operating a production environment
- Troubleshooting server hardware issues
- Automating common tasks, deploying with an IaaS model, utilizing chef or similar
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 2-3 business related trips per year for group meetings
- 5+ years of experience working in a large scale production environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions
- Must be able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zone
- Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions
