Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Perl Python and Ruby Software Architect.

Must be able to:

  • Build large scale hosted web applications
  • Create web-based electronic payment systems, auctions, and tax collection systems
  • Solve challenging problems involving data warehouse / ETL technologies, horizontal scaling, and grid processing

Qualifications Include:

  • Senior Perl programming experience (or expertise with other dynamic languages such as Python, Ruby)
  • Mastery at writing elegant and robust software
  • Experience designing and implementing large scale applications
  • Experience with datawarehouse and ETL technologies
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Expertise in relational databases and SQL
