Job Summary
A company in the insurance industry is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Personal Lines Auto Liability Reserving.
Position Responsibilities
- Own the quarterly reserve review for assigned Personal Auto Liability coverage(s) and communicate results to Senior Management
- Partner with stakeholders in Claims, Trends, and Product to understand impact from internal and external factors on reserves, loss development patterns, and trends
- Execute deep-dive analyses on Personal Auto Liability segment(s) to uncover impactful analytics and insights
Required Qualifications, Training and Education Level
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field
- Passing grades on a minimum of 5 Casualty Actuarial Exams is required
- Prior experience and solid knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as other business operations including financial, underwriting, legal, statistics, claims, sales, etc.
- Ability to build models of moderate complexity
- A commitment to achieving Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society
