Job Summary

A pet care company is seeking a Remote Pet Care Claims Adjuster.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing veterinary bills for accuracy and to determine whether coverage applies for claimed costs
• Investigating claims to determine if coverage applies based on applicable insurance policies
• Collaborating with other stakeholders in the organization to give technical knowledge and advice

Required Skills:

• 2-6 years as a veterinary medical professional or veterinary technician or equivalent experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• All-around team player who is a self-motivated, fast learner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Able to interpret and analyze documents and insurance policies
• Eligible to be licensed as a Property & Casualty adjuster
