Job Summary

A retail company specializing in pet wellness products is filling a position for a Remote Pet Food Safety Program Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Review and disposition food product based on our required food safety and quality testing thresholds
• Maintain FSQA KPIs, coordinate root cause analysis efforts, and inform our leadership of emerging trends
• Manage our Supplier Documentation for all new and existing vendors

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to perform regular verifications of our Food Safety programs
• Ability to review and disposition food product based on our required food safety and quality testing thresholds
• Ability to maintain FSQA KPIs, coordinate root cause analysis efforts, and inform leadership of emerging trends
• Ability to ensure regulatory compliance against 21 C.F.R. 117 for Human Grade Pet Food, sanitary transportation requirements, and retailer requirements
• Ability to manage our Supplier Documentation for all new and existing vendors
• Ability to provide training & support to customer-facing teams on quality and food safety
