Job Summary
An outsourcing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Pharmacist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Processing requests for insurance coverage
- Reviewing and approving/denying requests for prescription prior authorizations
- Accurately interpreting and verifying physicians' prescriptions, accesses, inputs and retrieves prescription information
Position Requirements Include:
- Understanding of and the ability to apply all state and federal laws and regulations
- Pharmacist Licensure must be current and unrestricted
- B.S. in Pharmacy and/or PharmD degree from accredited School of Pharmacy
- Ability to adhere to safety rules and regulations and maintain the confidentiality
- Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches
- Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows
