Job Summary
A pharmacy benefit management company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Pharmacy Health Plan Technician.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and maintaining current foreign and compound claims processing policies and procedures
- Researching, selecting, and documenting equivalent U.S. drug product for processing of foreign paper claims
- Contacting pharmacies to verify members' claim information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2 years of work experience in the retail or hospital industry
- High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
- Current registration with State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or ExCPT (CPhT)
