Job Summary

A pharmacy benefit management company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Pharmacy Health Plan Technician.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Creating and maintaining current foreign and compound claims processing policies and procedures
  • Researching, selecting, and documenting equivalent U.S. drug product for processing of foreign paper claims
  • Contacting pharmacies to verify members' claim information

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 2 years of work experience in the retail or hospital industry
  • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
  • Current registration with State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or ExCPT (CPhT)
