Job Summary
A staffing and HR solutions company has an open position for a Remote Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Communicating with patients by telephone and taking refill requests from patients
- Transcribing verbal prescriptions from external pharmacies
- Working with the ongoing support team to enter appropriate drug, drug dose, time, instructions and prescriber information into the pharmacy filing system
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High school or equivalent diploma
- State Board of Pharmacy License in good standing
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications
- Ability to work normal Pharmacy hours
