Job Summary
An institute for higher education needs applicants for an opening for a Remote PHD Faculty Dissertation Mentor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as first or second member of dissertation committees
- Checking and responding to students as required by the faculty handbook and program policy
- Participating in program and university-based residencies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Some travel may be requested (maximally once per quarter)
- Earned doctorate in education or a closely related field
- Experience chairing dissertation committees to the completion of dissertation process
- Possess a significant and current record of professional contributions to the field of education
- Strong time-management and co-project management skills
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office products
