Job Summary
A leading healthcare company is in need of a Remote Physical and Behavioral Health Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Administering physical and/or behavioral health medical services
- Developing and implementing programs to improve quality, cost, and outcomes
- Supporting clinicians to ensure timely and consistent responses to members and providers
Skills and Requirements Include:
- M.D. or D.O
- Board certification approved by one of the following: ABMS, AOA, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- 10 years of clinical experience or any combination of education and experience
- Active CA unrestricted medical license to practice medicine
- Ability to represent the company to external entities
- Ability to conduct peer-to-peer clinical reviews with attending physicians or other providers
