Job Summary

An engineering solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Physical Design Engineer in Longmont.

Must be able to:

  • Perform various types of physical design tasks: Floorplanning, Place & Route, Clock Tree Synthesis & Power grid at chip & block level
  • Work with the rest of the design team for flow bring up and validation
  • Work as part of a multi-member Physical Design team sharing responsibilities for block level work and top-level integration

Required Skills:

  • BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience with Cadence physical design tools Innovus, Tempus, Voltus, Conformal
  • Experienced in the entire back-end flow, floorplanning, P&R, timing closure, ECO, and IR-drop
  • Excellent scripting skills in Perl/Tcl
