A patent and trademark research company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Physical Science Patent Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting high-quality patent search projects
• Meeting deadlines and managing the assignments on docket
• Communicating effectively with other staff and team members

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ph.D. in Physics or Advanced degree in Optical Engineering
• Proven technical understanding of the invention disclosure, and identification of search focus
• Demonstrated problem solving skills in constructing and conducting patent searches using various search engines
• Technical areas of interest include Semiconductors, Batteries/Alternate energy, Sensors, Lighting, Optics and Imaging
• Patent law or patent search experience a plus
• Patent search or research experience – i.e., familiarity with search engines a plus
