Remote Physician Advisor

Job Summary

A healthcare support company is seeking a Remote Physician Advisor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Serving as liaison to providers, and case management and compliance
• Improving documentation and eliminating unnecessary secondary reviews
• Providing support on status determinations to our partner hospitals

Qualifications Include:

• MD or DO licensure with board certification (base specialty) recognized by ABMS or ABQAURP
• Utilization-specific training from ABQAURP or equivalent within 12 months of hire
• Minimum of 3-5 years of inpatient medicine and Advisory experience
• Proficient in Word and different EMR systems, while also willing to learn new technologies
• Hospitalist, emergency medicine, or intensivist experience
