Job Summary

A healthcare organization has a current position open for a Remote Physician Based Medical Coder in Houston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assign ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes, as appropriate and abstracts pertinent information
• Ensure optimal reimbursement of all cases in compliance with CMS policies and procedures
• Bring identified concerns to the Professional Recruiter who will direct as needed

Position Requirements Include:

• Coding from books experience required
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals
• Computer proficiency required
