Job Summary
A healthcare system is seeking a Remote Physician Billing Patient Accounts Specialist II.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Billing patient accounts and assuring accuracy
- Collecting insurance accounts by contacting insurance carriers and other payers
- Using continuous improvement methods to improve performance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of experience in hospital/physician patient accounts or equivalent experience
- Experience and proficiency using an automated billing system
- Effective negotiating skills
- Proactive problem solving skills
