Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Physician Clinical Reviewer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing all cases in which clinical determinations cannot be made by the Initial Clinical Reviewer
- Discussing determinations with requesting physicians or ordering providers
- Providing clinical rationale for standard and expedited appeals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Licensed Physician
- Current Board Certified
- Familiarity with the principles and procedures of utilization management
- Current and active license in good standing in the state in which Physician works
