Job Summary

A healthcare revenue cycle management company has an open position for a Remote Physician Coding Operations Manager.

Must be able to:

• Ensure managed coders meet or exceed productivity standards and quality standards
• Supervise and direct daily coder work schedules and work assignments
• Assist with assessment, training, and onboarding of new-hires

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of appropriate coding credential: CCS for Inpatient and CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H for Outpatient
• Experience working in an HIM department
• 2+ years of medical coding experience
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend and analyze large quantities of operational data
• Ability to create 30/60/90 day ramp-up plans for new associates
• Ability to create and manage individual growth and development plans for coders related to quality, productivity, and employee development
