Job Summary
An IT business services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Physician Evaluation Management Coding Quality Assurance Medical Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide medical coding
- Meet minimum productivity standards
- Ensure accurate submission of completed report
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 year degree or equivalent
- One of AHIMA or AAPC credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC, or CIC
- 3 or more years of experience with Physician Evaluation and Management coding
- Expertise in outpatient coding, including proficiency WITH
- CPT and PCS and Evaluation and Management
- Ability to work from home using Satellite, DSL or cable high speed internet
