Job Summary
A revenue management services company has an open position for a Remote Physician III Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments and procedures
- Review physician assigned diagnosis code after thorough review of the medical record
- Enter and validate codes, charges, and other edits
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to travel to other sites for meetings and/or coder back-up
- Must be able to use standard office equipment and information systems
- Must have Internal Medicine, Urgent Care and Palliative Care Coding
- Minimum of 3 years professional coding experience in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in professional cardiovascular surgical services
- Must have CCS-P or CPC certification
