Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Physicians Practice Surgical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Abstracting clinical diagnoses and procedure codes
- Seeking out missing information and creating complete records
- Providing quality assurance for medical records
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge and specialized formal training
- Level of knowledge and understanding of ICD and CPT coding principles
- Six months providing coding services within a broad range of health care facilities
