Job Summary

Seeking a structured and patient Male Piano Instructor, this part-time hourly remote position will conduct 1-on-1 lessons for a beginner student, focusing on foundational techniques and basic music theory.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach foundational piano techniques, including correct finger positioning, posture, and scale exercises
• Guide the student in reading sheet music, understanding time signatures, rhythms, and basic chord structures
• Plan sequential lessons tailored to the student's learning pace and monitor progress with constructive feedback

Required Qualifications

• Formal grade certification from a recognized board (e.g., Trinity College London or ABRSM Grade 3 to 5) preferred
• Experience as a self-taught musician or church pianist with strong practical command of the instrument is welcome
• Excellent patience and communication skills for simplifying complex musical concepts
• Strong commitment to punctuality for scheduled lessons
