Job Summary
A financial services and technology company has an open position for a Remote Platform and Tooling Senior Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and building strong, resilient, and robust APIs, libraries, and tools to power Brex engineers and operations
- Owning functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment
- Being responsible for full software development lifecycle - design, development, testing, operating in production
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience working with backend programming languages and familiarity with SQL and databases (eg: Postgres). We don’t expect you to know everything about every language, but we do expect you to adapt and learn quickly.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Python, Elixir, Kotlin & GraphQL
- Passionate about developing internal features and tools for improving the developer experience
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in a production environment
