Job Summary
A financial technology company is in need of a Remote Platform Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Proactively working to identify and reduce toil through the implementation of sustainable automated mechanisms
- Building high-quality observability into everything we do by building self serve alerts, dashboards, metrics and events
- Delivering self-serve capabilities to our developers that allow them to provision, manage and operate their own infrastructure
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong Problem solving skills and a growth mindset
- Deep technical knowledge of software and systems
- Knowledge of current technology developments
- Experience building immutable Infrastructure and Configuration as code
- Deep knowledge and experience in designing, deploying, and administering complex Amazon AWS cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Docker and best practices
